How CIA & MI6 Groomed HTS into Power in Syria: The Full Timber Sycamore-to-Palace Pipeline

Imagine this: the same guys who used to be in terrorists in al-Qaeda are now running Syria.

And guess who helped them get there? America’s CIA and Britain’s MI6.

Here’s the simple story:

Step 1: America Sent Truckloads of Guns (2012–2018)

The CIA ran a secret plan called Timber Sycamore.

They spent billions buying guns, rockets, and missiles.

They gave them to “good” Syrian rebels to fight President Assad.

But most of the weapons ended up with a terrorist group called Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (al-Qaeda’s team in Syria).

Result: Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) became super strong and won the war.

Step 2: Britain Gave Them a Makeover (2023–2025)

Britain’s spy agency MI6 didn’t want HTS to look like terrorists anymore.

They sent a company called Inter-Mediate (run by Tony Blair’s old friend) to teach the leader, Jolani, how to:  

Wear normal clothes on TV  

Smile for cameras  

Say “we love peace”  

Pretend to be tough on ISIS (while keeping his old al-Qaeda friends)

In just 2 years, they turned a terrorist into a “president.”

Step 3: Welcome to the New Syria (2025)  

HTS now controls the whole country.  

They made a new army unit with 3,500 foreign terrorists (from China, Russia, Albania, etc.).  

These guys got Syrian passports and big jobs in the army.  

One of their bosses is still on al-Qaeda’s world leadership team!

Step 4: America and Britain Say “It’s Fine!”  

USA removed HTS from the terrorist list.  

Britain opened an embassy in Damascus super fast.  

Trump even met Jolani and said: “Just don’t attack us, and everything else will be okay.”

Why This is Dangerous

This is like Pakistan on steroids.

Pakistan keeps terrorists in its army “just in case.”

Now Syria is doing the same — but with Western help.

Intelligence agencies are already warning:  These fighters can go back home and cause terror attacks.  

China is angry (their terrorists got promoted to colonels).  

Europe is scared of new waves of attacks.

The Simple Truth

America and Britain spent their tax money to:  Arm al-Qaeda’s friends.  

Teach them how to look nice.  

Put them in charge of a whole country.

They created a monster and called it “victory.”

Syria is now the new home for dangerous fighters — and the West helped build it. Pakistan 2.0 is open for business.
